The brokerage firms expect downward pressure on the non-regulated generation business given material unhedged positions in 2010 and beyond. AEE continues to work on cost control and capital preservation to manage the current economic difficulty. These firms believe AEE has several rate cases pending in Illinois and Missouri that may boost earnings growth if AEE receives reasonable outcomes.
