Baxter exited 3Q10 with $2.8 billion in cash compared with $2.3 billion at the end of the sequentially prior quarter.
In 3Q10, cash flows from operations were slightly over $1 billion compared with $783 million in the sequentially prior quarter. Capital expenditure was $232 million in the reported quarter.
Outlook: Baxter expects to generate cash flow from operations of about $2.8 billion in FY10.
Share Repurchase: During 3Q10, the Company repurchased 3.6 million common shares costing approximately $161 million.
