Capital Structure Solvency and Cash Flow
As on December 31, 2009, cash, cash equivalents, and current and non-current marketable securities were $587.3 million versus $458.0 million as on December 31, 2008. This increase was primarily due to net proceeds of debt and equity financings in August 2009 and cash generated from operations, offset by cash paid in connection with the Proteolix acquisition.
